Huy - North District - Sale of the former industrial site "Ets Charlier" :
SPI is selling this former industrial site through a conditional sale, for which the program has been established in collaboration with the City of Huy and the Walloon Administration.
Main function : housing (for information, it was estimated that the site could accomodate +/- 60 apartments).
Other functions should ideally complement the program : services, retail, businesses.
A potential for silver economy has been identified.
Special attention will be given to the following topics:
- contribution of the project to the neighbourhood
- mix of functions
- integration of climate issues : greening/green spaces
- circularity (conception, materials, water management, shared-use...)
Strategical location next to Huy train and bus station and its 400-spaces car park.
Huy train station is located halfway along the line connecting Namur and Liège (40 km from Namur and Liège; 95 km from Brussels).
Free 87-spaces public car park at 250m from the site.
