Reassignment of an industrial building to accommodate the new Training Center "Design Innovation" :

The project is part of the 2014-2020 programming of structural funds subject to ERDF funding (European Regional Development Fund) and is carried out in partnership with IFAPME.

The project involves the reallocation of the industrial building that housed the UT boiler room in Charleroi in order to develop the future Design Innovation Training Center. The building benefits from a remarkable interior metal structure preserved and highlighted by the various projected interventions. By the choices made, the project also makes it possible to create a link between the upper and lower parts of the neighborhood where it is located while taking advantage of the aesthetic strength of the volumes as well as the exceptional point of view that the roof terraces offer on the city.

The program and vocation of the Center "Design Innovation" aims through its future workshops, resource center and classrooms to develop discovery, experimentation, training, research, organization of events and Pedagogical development in all subjects related to "Design".
