Vervoerbedrijf Verhaegen :

Willy Naessens Industriebouw realised a logistics hall and offices for Verhaegen transport company bvba on the DUWIJCK industrial estate in Lier.

Verhaegen transport company is active in the transport and distribution of general cargo, pallets and groupage. Your pallets are delivered within a period of 24 to 48 hours throughout the Benelux. In turbulent times for the transport sector, this SME urgently needed expansion.

The client and architect consciously opted for modern, yet timeless architecture packed in solid and durable materials. It was immediately clear that the sustainability of concrete was chosen because of the value of the real estate in the medium and long term.

The building consists of a hall of 3.000m² intended for all kinds of logistic purposes and 750m² floor where the offices, social rooms and the archives are housed.

Willy Naessens Industriebouw was responsible for foundations, concrete structure, walls, roofing, sewerage, concrete floor and exterior joinery. With this realization, Verhaegen Transport Company is undoubtedly ready for the present and future.

It is to the architects' credit that they have created a design that incorporates the client's full range of requirements, with a timeless architecture as a sublime result.
