Villers Abbey Farm: barn and outbuilding reallocation:

The "Abbaye de Villers" (Villers Abbey), situated in the commune of Villers-la-Ville (Belgium) in grounds of more than 36 hectares, is a destination site imbued with history and emotion. It was founded in the 12th Century, under the aegis of Saint Bernard. Today, its majestic ruins give a marvellous idea of the life of monks of the Cistercian Order.

The abbey farm is listed since 1990. Facades and roof have been restored with the European Regional Development Fund. Three aisles of the farm are completely restored and equiped inside. Some parts of them are still used by non-profit organisations.

The barn and its outbuilding are restored (facades and roof) and interior structural works are executed. The project offers 2300 sq meters to multifunctional activities (eg. MICE, accomodation) in relationship with touristic activities organised in the historical site ( Surroundings are green, calm and  much visited (walks). The site is also listed and connected to the touristic part of the site: ruins, visitor center, gardens...
