The Belgian market leader for the distribution of high-quality electrotechnical products has 1.6 million product references, 50,000 of which can be delivered within 24 hours. A smooth logistics flow is therefore crucial. The new distribution centre is needed to keep up with CEBEO's growth ambitions. The first shipments will leave from the new site in autumn 2023. The site's location right next to the exit complex of the E403 and E42 motorways in Blandain ensures optimal accessibility.
A 40,000 m2, 18-metre-high building with 32 loading and unloading docks will be erected on the 12-hectare site, designed by AAVO Architects. In addition to administrative offices, there is also a logistics office and a gatehouse where freight and delivery vehicles have to register. The vast majority of the building is logistics space, a semi-automated warehouse from which Cebeo supplies all its customers, either directly or through its extensive branch network. The logistics centre will be a state-of-the-art building with full consideration for employees, customers and the planet.
