MG Multimodal Park Liege :

In April 2024, MG Real Estate, in collaboration with Wallonie Entreprendre, acquired the former Haut Fourneau B site in Seraing, previously owned by ArcelorMittal. The 35-hectare site is ideally situated along the Meuse River, offering direct access to road, rail, and inland waterway transport, including connections to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. This multimodal position reinforces the site’s potential as a logistics and business hub for the region. 

The project centres on the transformation of a former brownfield into a sustainable economic cluster, integrating energy-efficient buildings, enhanced biodiversity, and environmentally responsible land use. By valorising existing industrial land, the project supports local employment and contributes to the long-term regeneration of the Seraing area. 

The redevelopment programme foresees approximately 150,000 sqm of modern logistics space and 10,000 sqm dedicated to SMEs. MG Real Estate is currently seeking interest from future tenants and long-term partners for the various development phases. Demolition works are ongoing, and initial soil remediation has begun. The first new buildings are scheduled for delivery in Q3 2027.
