MG Salyx Park:
MG Salyx Park is a 60-hectare mixed-use urban development located between Vilvoorde and Machelen, on a former industrial zone currently in full urban transformation. The project will create an entirely new district combining residential, commercial, institutional and light-logistics functions. The programme foresees approximately 2,000 homes, ranging from compact apartments to spacious family houses with gardens or terraces, complemented by space for a hospital, school, offices, retail, and small-scale logistics. Soil remediation works are ongoing on the site, with several phases already completed. The first building is already constructed, with permits in place for both the Lights Logistics and CCB’s.
Sustainability is a central pillar of MG Salyx Park. The masterplan integrates around 8 hectares of green public spaces, climate-resilient landscaping, safe cycling routes and energy-efficient buildings to support a healthy living environment. Mobility is a major asset: the future Ringtram bus will stop on-site, connecting directly to Brussels Airport, UZ Brussel, Heysel and the wider Brussels network. Additional links include Tram 10, the Willebroek express tram, the Airport Tram, Vilvoorde station and regional cycling routes (F214 and F215), as well as nearby access to the E19, R0 and R22.
